KANNAWIDAN
FESTIVAL
Kannawidan means “nakaugalian” in tagalog, or in English it is
“tradition”. We are celebrating this festival for our cultures and traditions
to be well-known by everybody. There are a lot of activities that we need to be
done during this festival. Some of those are the “Saniata ti Ilocos Sur”,
“Saniata Ti Agtutubo”, “Siglat Ilocandia”, and a lot more. There are also some
artists who are coming there to give happiness and entertainment to the people
who will be going to join or watch the program. I can say that this festival is
so perfect in recognizing our cultures and traditions not only in local but
also globally. I am very proud to be a citizen in our province, Ilocos Sur with
such a very prestigious event like this kannawidan festival.
